When you start the game, the first level is a training level. It starts out with a conversation sequence between you and your trainer… or someone The conversations are reminiscent of old NES games… You read the text and the audio kind of sounds like Charlie Brown’s teacher. But that’s not important.

For a free game, this is actually a lot of fun. You use the accelerometer to control your helicopter’s speed and direction. To land, you simply hover over a landing area and tap the landing area. To fire weapons, same deal, simply tap the screen. For a preview, check out the video below:

The free version is limited, however. The full version comes with 30 levels, pick up bonuses, cash awards, an R&D lab, 3 difficulty settings and a lot more.

I like the game. The freebie is certainly worth a download. Reminds me in some ways of the old ‘1942‘ airplane shooter for the old classic systems. Remember that one?
