Apple News, Hardware, Rumors

On the brink of the Apple MacBook Event, more images have come out from a source named ‘JR’. The folks over at Engadget have posted 2 new images of the MBP, as you can see below.

Apparently the refreshes will include two full-on NVIDIA GPUs inside the new laptops, which would be pretty crazy if you ask me. Rumor also is that the 17-inch MacBook Pro is not going to get a refresh at tomorrow’s event. Finally, word is that an $899 part number is showing up in Apple’s retail systems. Could that be one of the new, cheaper MacBooks? All will be answered soon… can’t wait.

Wow… the new MacBooks are on the Apple site (unfortunately the store is being updated), but you can see all the new specs & features on these beauties as well as the video about it. They look so sleek!!!

Am I going to buy one?… probably not, for 2 reasons. One, they have a glass screen (although esthetically beautiful, not conducive for graphic design), the second reason… well, I have a brand new 17″ MBP which is almost as fast as these ones… & although the new MacBooks have some really neat stuff, there isn’t anything that’s really making me want to get rid of this 17″ (plus, the new 17″ aren’t out yet, but probably not too far behind)
