iPhone

The $40,000 iPhone from AmosuIf you’re one of those that has to have the ‘best’ of everything, then I think I might have found the perfect iPhone for you. Of course, it will set you back £20,000 (roughly $40,000 USD). But that’s no problem right?

The ‘extreme jewelry’ maker Amosu has a Diamond iPhone available for purchase. Embedded in the phone are 420 diamonds with a total carat weight ranging from 5.65 to 6.34. With it you also get an international concierge service that gives you access to special events and bookings worthy of someone that owns a $40,000 phone. You also get a 1 year manufacturers warranty, and the bezel is available in stainless steel or 18 carat white or yellow gold. The diamonds can be white, black or pink sapphire diamonds.

If I have $40,000 to spend on an iPhone I’ve done well for myself. Either that… or I have more money than brains :)

This $40k little beast with it’s 5.x to 6.x carat weight in diamonds coupled with an appropriate gold bezel is so Ron and Nancy. Think Diamond Tennis Bracelets and Adolpho Suits on wives with far too teased hair. So Ivana Trump with – not sans – The Donald!

  3. I guess that’s useful when you want to use your iPhone as a saw …

Do you still need a iphone skin to protect it?

hmm interesting… what happens if the iPhone needs service? Does the retard take out the diamonds or the metal band? All-in-all this is a gimick i think from some jeweler.

Thank God I bought 2. I can’t find one of them. I hope I didn’t leave it on the bus.

  7. Thanks for sharing this. I’ve wanted to get my iPhone done for a while but so far have found it a bit too expensive. Perhaps I should just save up and buy a ready made one. The gold and diamond iPhones look great!
