The game features different control options. You can use the traditional gamepad style, where you use a virtual gamepad on your device to move Ms. PAC-MAN around the screen… Or, you can use the accelerometer mode, which lets you play by leaning and rotating your device to move Ms. PAC-MAN around the screen. If you don’t like the traditional directional pad feel, the accelerometer mode could be for you.

I think it’s a fine idea for the developer to offer both accelerometer and traditional gamepad controls. I can’t imagine using tilting to move a Pacman or Ms. Pacman through a maze. Maybe it just takes practice, lots of practice to fine tune your tilts.
