This isn’t the first I’ve heard of this. Images taken from within the iPhone factory have been found before, but this one takes it to the next level… they are actually pictures of one of the factory workers. These were definitely taken on purpose, no accident here… But I wonder if the photographer had meant to delete them before the iPhone was boxed up?

I sincerely hope the worker or photographer in question here do not get fired. Looks like they were having a heck of a time. Good times in a factory!? Let ‘em play I say!

A few more pictures are available at MacRumors.

Seems China has a habit of blocking web content that they do not agree with.

The latest news out of the country is that the Chinese government is now blocking access to the iTunes Store. Why? Well because of all the pro-Tibetan content of course!

Word is the Chinese government learned that Olympic athletes have been downloading an album called Songs for Tibet… which they obviously did not appreciate. My guess is they would frown upon the athletes downloading anything from The Dalai Lama Audiobook Collection.

My only question is… When is the Chinese government going to start blocking Mactropolis.com!? :P

From the developers at Chillingo comes Par 72 Golf for the iPhone. You might recognize this game, as it has been around for the BlackBerry and other devices for quite some time now. This latest version for the iPhone takes the game to a new level.

Play one of three 18 hole courses (Mountain, Ocean and Desert courses). The graphics are not bad, although I’d have to say they could be improved upon (Tiger Woods 2009 for iPhone? C’mon EA!), but all in all, this has to be the best golf sim available for the iPhone to date. It’s easy to play, and anyone that enjoys to get out on the course will probably get a few kicks out of this title.

I question the pricing at $7.99, but then again, if you’re really into golf it may be worth the price.

Apple has released another build of Mac OS X 10.5.5 to developers. This build (9F17) like the previous build (9F13) has no know issues, but provides fixes for Mail, Sync, iCal, Core Animation and Back to My Mac. Apple in the past has released builds rapidly prior to mainstream release, this suggests an imminent release of this update. 10.5.5 is expected to be a free update and will be available through Software Update in the Apple Menu when it is available.

Apple has released knowledge base and statement for two different product defects. The first statement addresses the first generation iPod nano battery over heating issues. In some rare instances the battery in the first generation iPod nano has failed or cause deformation of the iPod itself due to overheating. The first generation iPod was sold from September, 2005 - December, 2006. If you think you are affected by this issue contact AppleCare for replacement.

The second statment addresses the issue with MagSafe Power Adapter insulation fraying and exposing bare wire. The knowledge base can be found here. Affected customers may still be eligible for replacement even if their MagSafe adaptor is out of warranty.

We’ve all been waiting eagerly for a copy/paste function to be added to the iPhone firmware. To date, the feature has NOT been added, but that hasn’t stopped 3rd party developers from trying to solve the problem.

OpenClip is a new 3rd party app that offers copy and paste functionality within supported iPhone applications. It works by storing selected data and then retrieving it and inputting it into a desired field (hence, copy and paste).

Check out the video below for an overview of the app:

PayPal for iPhoneThat’s right.. If you haven’t noticed yet, PayPal has arrived for the iPhone!

If you haven’t used PayPal before, it’s a service that lets you send and receive money securely online. It is the payment method of choice on eBay… which is perhaps why eBay bought PayPal some time ago!

The PayPal app allows you to send money using your existing account. Punch in the amount, and the account you want to send it to, and PayPal does the rest. You can choose from 16 different currencies and login using your existing account PIN or password.

At any time if you wonder what your balance is, you can login to your PayPal account with this app and check your balance. Handy stuff.

The application is stunningly easy to use, and it’s free. So if you use PayPal a lot, this is a must have.

As you may have read on this post from Wes yesterday, Apple is sending out emails notifying Mobile Me users of a 60 day extension to their current subscription. This is the second extension to service Apple has offered since Mobile Me’s launch in July. ”We are working very hard to make MobileMe a great service we can all be proud of,” the message reads. “We know that MobileMe’s launch has not been our finest hour, and we truly appreciate your patience as we turn this around.” You really can’t complain. Three extra months of service for tolerating a few growing pains. For what it’s worth I think it is nice of Apple to do this. There is nothing in the terms of service agreement that says they have to extend or refund service when the servers go down, but they are anyway. Details can be found here.

New from Software Designs Dev. Corp. comes Pick & Choose Groceries Edition.

Pick & Choose Groceries Edition claims to be the ‘only shopping list you’ll ever need!’. If you’re addicted to your iPhone and carry it around with you everywhere… this could be a great time saver. Add items to your shopping list during the day, and then open it up at the grocery store to make sure you get everything you need!

The app features over 1,500 grocery items already built-in. The app organizes your items into categories, and will even search as you type to find the item you are looking for. You can add your own custom items or categories as well… plus much more.

A feature that caught my eye is the ‘quantity chooser’. Simply tap on an item in your list more than once and you’ll get a selector that lets you choose a quantity for that item. For example, ‘5 iPhones’… you get the idea.

This cool little lifestyle app is available for only $4.99 in the App Store. Could be worth checking out!

Yippee! Three new Mac vs. PC ads have been posted on the Apple website: Pizza Box, Throne and Calming Teas. As usual, they are full of hilarious one liners. Go check them out.
