If you’re tired of the effects built-in to iChat and Photobooth, I’ve found a plugin that adds 24 new effects! It’s freeware, so simply click here to download and install.
Some of the cool effects you’ll find:
- Clouds
- Eiffel Tower
- Rollercoaster
- Earthrise
- Cowboy (this one superimposes your eyes and mouth on a cowboy face… hilarious)
- Joconde (same as ‘cowboy, but you can put your face on the Mona Lisa!)
- Times Square (another cool one… superimpose yourself into times square!)
I played around with this in Photobooth for awhile and it’s ‘all good’. Lots of new effects so you’ll want to check it out for yourself.

Bob,
1. Download the .zip from the link in the post.
2. Unzip the package.
3. Double click on the package that appears on your desktop. This runs and installer for you…
That should be it!

Forgot to mention… to use these in iChat:
Video > Show Video Effects
In Photobooth:
Click on the effects button. More effects will be available to you from the main interface.

i downloaded and installed this but it’s not showing up, what should i doo?

ok, so i downloaded this and unzipped it, but for some reason everytime i click it to run the installer, it stops itself and cancels. what do i do?!
